Questions about early exclusions

I have seen multiple people on here have success with early exclusions and I just had a couple questions:

Do the CRA phone numbers listed in the stickies still work? I see the last update was in 2012. If someone has a better number please feel free to PM me.

Also, could someone remind me which CRA requires a credit report number when you call in?

Lastly, If we have some accounts due to fall off in November of this year would it be acceptable to begin calling in March? Thanks!

I dont know if the CRA numbers still work and I believe all 3 you still need report numbers to call in, as far as something being excluded in Nov, the general consensus seems to be start calling TU 6 months prior and the other 2 CRAs 3 months in advance.

If you pull your free annual report they have the number on them. Just pull from each bureau and you know it's the right number. Print it and you'll have current data and the numbers.

Transunion doesnt require a report number. Experian did when I called.

TU Pennsylvania and EX Texas numbers both still work. TU took me all of 30 seconds once I got to someone that knew what i was talking about (took 4 or 5 tries). Ex told me i had to wait til February, will update monday with success/fail. Ex does require a report number to get anywhere.

I was able to get early exclusions via the online dispute form for Transunion and Experian. I had one due to fall off in March, several in May/June and one in July. Transunion removed them all. Experian removed all but the one due to fall off in July. So for me, it seems anything past 6mths was the cutoff.

I did not pursue early exclusion with equifax based on feedback here. I ran my report last week to have recent scores for all 3 bureas, and found several had fallen off the equifax report already. Items due to fall off in March and July were still listed.

I just pulled my online TU report earlier this evening and have 11 Adverse Accounts showing. In reality it's only 6 accounts that are derogatory. What shows is the original creditors plus the collection agencies they were sold to, so basically each is listed times 2. They are scheduled to fall off in May/June of this year so after reading the posts about early exclusions I decided to pull my report and dispute. For each original creditor, there was a checkbox for "Account is too old", which I checked and added "Requesting early exclusion on an item to be deleted xx/2015" in the comments section. For the CA's there was no checkbox option for "Account is too old". One CA account did not have the original creditor still listed on my report so I chose "Account is settled" checkbox and added the same comment. I'll wait to see what happens and will update this thread when I hear back.

Success with my last baddy on experian yesterday. 2 min on hold, 60 seconds with a rep and an email confirmation within 2 hrs. Call exp texas number. Report number is required, but a very simple process. Now just to wait on the magic score update!

I used the EX Texas number and TU Pennsylvania numbers.
