How far off is Credit Karma Fako from actual FICO?

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how far off the fako scores from credit karma are against actual fico scores? Also, does myfico allow purchasing your score one time? I have looked and all their products seem to be geared towards a monthly subscription.

No way to know - it could be close, it could be 50-100 points high or it could be 50-100 point low.

I would suggest doing the 7 day trial from Credit Check Total for one dollar....

^That, or sign up for myFICO, get your first set of reports, and then cancel. You are not locked in to years and years of monthly service.

FICO to FAKO is apples to oranges. Different models entirely. That said, mine are within 10 points of each other right now, which has not generally been the case for my profile.

If you're working your profile hard, the subscription to MyFICO is worth it. Scores, quarterly reports, alerts as changes occur, etc.

Mine are about a 75 point difference with CK being a lot lower.

My CK score is 75-100 pts lower as well! CK should not be used for scoring, only as a way to stay up to date on what's on your report. Awesome when you're rebuilding.

CK should be used only for weekly credit report monitoring. Don't even bother looking at the score

I agree with the person above that said go with the credit check total trial for $1. Cancel within 7 days. Cheapest and easiest way to get your three FICO 08 scores... and you get them twice with 1 trial, so 50 cents per 3 scores.
