You guys, Drive Financial is nuts! I bought a car in 2007, put 4200 down and paid on time every time. In fact, I had auto payments set up. Anyway, in Jan 2008 someone hit it in the rear end while my husband was driving...well it was totaled. In March 2007, gap and our auto insurance paid if OFF. We had zero balance, and got another car through GMAC. Life was peachy, lol. Well, I looked at my credit this month and Drive was reporting a 6,000 past due balance since March of 2007 and reported late payments up until now. However, our balance reported a dollar as well as our high limit. Let me tell you, I was furious! I sat on hold with these people for HOURS and no one would ever pick up the phone...for 3 days. Finally, after sitting on hold for 1 hour and half this woman answered saying my balance is 449 and she will not and cannot update. I disputed. Came back verifed and accurate. Well, I called some other number where an operator answers and DEMANDED a manager. She wanted to tranfer me to the same number I had called, and I just kept demanding. The manager told me there was a $1 balance left over after insurance, and they have been charging a dollar a day. I told her if she wants a dollar, I will send her a %$%$ dollar, lol. She laughed and told me she will take care of it and submitted a report. This is my biggest baddie and I am so happy now! If you have anything with Drive, I feel very sorry for you and I wish you luck with this company.
