How to find collection agency

I have a little 10 dollar collection that I wanted to pay so it didn't get reported and my moron boyfriend threw out the letter (IT WAS ON THE FRIDGE!) How do i find out the agency?

Do you know who the original creditor was?

I check my credit report for that information. It sounds like yours may not have been reported yet?

Call them and they will refer you to the CA, or they may take payment themselves. If it has not yet reported as a collection, I would work with the CA in order to keep them from reporting.
