I have yet to buy any of the credit score packages as I am out of money until tomorrow.

Now the reason I'm actually here is because my credit score, accoring to Credit Karma, dropped a good 100 points due to my name change. I had the CK account under my old name and I finally got around to changing it to my now legal name. When I did that it brought over my credit card and two items in collections, all under my current legal name, so my score just dropped.

So now I have these items I do intend on paying off, but if there's a way to remove them from my score, or a chance, I would like to know how. I saw something called Collection Shield 360 and was told about Pay For Delete methods. Both seem a little shady and I'm unsure. Is there any actual way I can remove them from my score or am I pretty much stuck with them?

Like I kind of like seeing it, as a harsh reminder of what happens when you let a nice paycheck and no responsibilities get to your head, but I also hate it for the obvious reason of it hurting my score. Also because the score is actually worse than what I started with, thanks to student loans, and I was almost at 660 before this started.

If there is no way, I get that. I got myself in this issue and that's just life I guess. But if there is, and I say a gigantic IF, a way to remove them then I would love to know.

If you need any info I left out, feel free to ask. I'm pretty open about the situation and I figure yall might need more information.

Both of those are legitimate.
