I would suggest the first attempt be a written PFD and sent thru the mail. You could also attempt to get the OC to recall the collection in exchange for payment.

So I sent a DV to a company called Fidelity they responded with documents from a payday advance I took out in 2013 original loan amount was $215 and they charged a $35 return check fee.

I would like to do a PFD for this account I just want to know the best was to do this in writing. This company was actually sued 4 years ago for reporting accounts to the CRA's when they've been paid years prior (this isn't the case for mine but just for information).

I would like to offer them the original amount financed which was $215 as well as do a PFD this account is from 2013.

What do you think is the best way I could do this?
