non Payment Capital One

Does anyone have the contact email to CO excutive office? YES I have googled but there are many contacts. I was hoping someone could direct me which department I needed to contact for my letter of good will to remove my 30day late payment. This was a honest error on my behalf and im sick to my stomach with a 100 point drop, I really hope a letter of goodwill will work in my favor

Does it even work?

I tried to ask a rep about this and I felt insulted. She said, what I was requesting was against the law trying to remove a recorded late payment that already sent to the credit reporting agencies.

We have had success and no success at the same time. My husband was able to have a late payment removed through good will, but I was unable to have late payments removed on my cards - even though we had the same reason and they happened at the same time. Go figure. The woman who helped my husband was very nice and helpful. The guy who *didn't* help me was not helpful at all. He was at least nice, but he tried to give me the whole reporting accurate information blah blah spiel too. Tell me how one person can do it but another one can't for the same exact reason.. lol. Either way it is worth a shot! Having the one removed from my husband's card was a huge deal because it was only one late payment but the card is an older one with a pretty decent limit that we will probably never close since it helps age his credit.

Quick Update!!!!

I wrote my letter immediately to the office 1/1/17 around 6:30ish, as of today 1/6/17 I was contacted by a representative. The guy was very nice on he phone, I started to explain the mistake I had made was an honest error and hoping a little consideration would be given. I can tell he was smiling on the phone and told me no worries it happens, after receiving my email and reviewing my account it was decided to reverse the 30 day late payment in my favor. He said it would take about 60 days before I seen the change on my credit report .....WOW I'm thrilled to say the least !!!!!

Maybe try writing another letter. My letter was sincere, personal but straight forward. I was prepared to write as many letters as i needed to make it happen
