The problem is that the CRAs have a formal policy that furnishers are not to delete based on payment of the debt.

That is a business policy based on the fact that the CRAs are in business to sell credit histories, and the more complete their histories, the higher their value to customers.

Subjective deletions, if routine, would result in incomplete credit history information.

That policy is clearly stated in their joint credit reporting manual, and incorporated into credit reporting agreements between furnishers and the CRAs.

Theoretically, a CRA could terminate a furnisher's ability to report to that CRA if the furnisher is known to routinely grant PFD or GW deletions.

Many furnishers will establish formal policies, passed down to their subordinates, of no grant of GW or PFD deletions.

Thus, routine calls or communications can often result in summary refusal.

Since management establishes such policies, they have discretion to grant exceptions that are not authorized by underlings.

Thus, many have received excpetions by finding an upper-management official with discretion to vary from normal policy.

Called tmobile and they told me the account was closed and now ERC has the account.

Called ERC and a lady asked me some info and told me that the amount due is $307. That i can pay it completely or make four monthy payments for it.

My question is... What can I do? I want to pay the amount completely but I want ERC to be removed from my credit

Did you ask for a PFD? Check around the forums and see if anyone else has had success with this CA.

Also, I'm guessing those are CK scores. I would pull all 3 and see what your real score is and check for inaccuracies.

ERC will not PFD(pay for delete). It will stay on your credit report even after you pay it. My advice is to leave it alone for a while, 6 months or so, it may go back to t mobile or to another agency that will pfd.

Since I paid the accounts and erc doesnt want to remove them from my credit. I opened a dispute with BBB, asking ERC to remove the accounts from my credits.. they answered with a letter that says

Payment was received and balance is updated to zero and the accounts are closed. This accounts will not be reported to the credit agencies"

**bleep**... the accounts are in my credit report in TU and EQ since 2015 as "collections charged off"

I rejected the response they made.. and answered with proof of my credit report and of a conversation I had with a tmobile rep that she told me when an account gets paid they send a notice to the collection agency so they can file a request to remove it from credit report.

let see.. what happens lol

I had collections accounts with them for Tmobile bill of $894. Disputed as no knowledge deleted in 2014.

Also I had a collection account with AFNI/Sprint. Disputed as no knowledge deleted in 2014.

Me personally I wouldn't pay them I would dispute first. Can't hurt to try.

@Anonymous wrote:

Since I paid the accounts and erc doesnt want to remove them from my credit.
Well.. After the BBB complaint they sent me a email letter.

The response was they submitted a complete deletion from all of the credit bureaus within 45 days.

It seems disputing them with BBB is the solution.. lets see what happens lol
