MIssing Mortgage Tradeline

I was looking at my Credit Karma repoort for this week and I noticed that my TU scored dropped 47 points. So after doing a little looking around, i noticed that my mortgage tradeline was missing. There is no reason for it to be removed...nothing has changed. It is still being reported on EQ.

I emailed my mortgage company and I got back a bit of a canned response saying that I needed to take it up with the reporting agency. Im not sure how this works but it seems like maybe the TU report from our mortgage didnt process properly.

Any thoughts? Should I report it to TU or take it up with the mortgage co?

I would contact TU, then if they say it's the mortgage company you can t least tell the mortgage company that you've already contacted TU, as they advised. If you have to contact the mortgage company again, don't settle for what the CSR says if they again say it's TU's fault. Ask to speak with someone in the reporting department.

I just realized the same thing tonight! I can't sleep. I checked credit karma and my score went up about 20pts. I checked to see what changed and my mortgage company is missing from Trans Union! Cenlar is the company. . I am still paying. I have to call in the morning! Crazy! (And crazy that if I paid off my house it'd only go up 20 pts)!

It's creditkarma so I wouldn't lose any sleep over this. They are known to have very glitchy reporting. Vantage Scores which is what CK gives you are used by virtually no one outside of some apartment rental agencies. You should check your FICO reports to see if the mortgage appears on them. I wouldn't even bother calling anyone until you check them If it does show on your FICO reports, then nothing to worry about.

MIne is Cenlar too! I hate them...Im about to apply for a HELOC and I need the 44 pts

I checked my TU report and it is still listed and current, so I agree Credit Karma issue!

I called the mortgage company directly and they told me everything is fine with my account and TU or credit karma must have had some type of glitch.
