Secured credit card with no Credit Check

Does anyone know of good secured credit cards that offer no credit check?? Also, I need to know whether they report to the 3 major credit bureaus. I'm trying to rebuild my credit and can't afford another ithe inquiry on my credit report

I'm also in the process of rebuilding my credit. OpenSky secured credit card doesn't check credit an reports to all 3 credit bureaus.

Open Sky sent me a card fairly quickly and didn't pull a credit report and they reported I believe after the first month if I'm not mistaken. Fairly painless company for what they are compared to some other cards.

Also if you are a member of a credit union or a local bank they may have one as well so you could get two reporting. If you are already an established banbking customer then they may do a soft pull so you won't get another inquiry.

Also with no data points to go on, if you don't currently have an auto loan or mortgage or student loan, then search on here for the secured share loan technique. That way you get that free boost to your scores as well for a mere pittance of an investment.

The OpenSky card actually counts the annual fee as the first month and first statement. This allows for almost immediate reporting to all three bureaus. Also been some reports if people getting cli's above their secured amount.

SDFCU. No credit check for applying for their secuured card and the interest rate is a stupid low 7.99%

Thanks for this info. I actually called SDFCU yesterday and they advised that membership is required for their secured card. In order to become a member you must work for a State or Fed government employer or be related to someone who does. I don't qualify under either. Do you know any way around this?

You can join SDFCU with an American Consumer Council membership.

Edit: I have in my crib notes that there's an EX HP to join, though. So, if you're not already a member, you'd still take an HP.

EX = Experian

HP = hard pull(inquiry)

Why is that an issue? I got in with low 500 scores. People get way too shy of inquiries. They are a necessary part of rebuilding.

currently in process of obtaining a home mortgage and need to be mindful of such. I'm looking for another open revolving credit line to boost my score. Inquiries can stay on CR for up to 2 years.

I secured a mortgage with more than a dozen inquiries on one CRA. They simply are not the big deal people make them out to be.

Opening another revolving line, depending on what you currently have on your file, may very well lower your score. How many active open accounts do you have?

If thats the case then you don't want to be adding new accounts *at all*

Well I actually spoke w/ the mortgage rep who advised me to hurry and open another credit card account (without a Credit inquiry) in order to boost credit score for better mortgage interest rate.

I would recommend applying for either of these three cards:

Merrick Secured Visa Card
Primor Secured Visa Gold Card
OpenSky Secured Visa

No credit check is required for approval. They all have reasonable rates.

And they do report to the three major national credit bureaus.
