I'm no expert, but I have not read any thread about EE on inquiries. In fact, it seems like disputing inquiries are not recommended either unless it is certain that the inquiries were made without your knowledge. If you think inquiries were made without your approval, it's best to contact that institution directly. That's the impression I got from most people in this forum.

I tried calling the company. The rep seem confused, she suggested i contact their fraud department for idenity theft. I told her that i didnt think ny idenity had been stolen. Then she said to dispute with EX, EQ and TU.

Inquiries do not have credit report exclusion periods under the FCRA.

They are not derogs that have a specified exclusion period under FCRA 605(a).

They are not the reporting of any adverse consumer information. They are the recording of someone's viewing of your credit report.

The removal of inquiries is governed solely by internal CRA policy, based on their desire to free up database space, and they have total discretion as to when they remove They are not excluded from credit reports, they are removed from the CRA database, and thus they are not "excluded."

You can always contact a CRA and request early deletion, but it is not a common practice on their part.

EX will remove an inq early. They will remove an inq on the 1st day of the month if the inq falls in that month. Meaning that if the inq happened 01/30/2016, on new years day ( if they are open ) they will remove it if you ask them. Ive done this a few times already. Dont have to speak to a supervisor as a front line CSR can easily do it

Its rather pointless to do so since they stop affecting your scores a year before they are removed.
