Capital One Credit Card Late Removals HELP/ADVISE!!!

Hello and Good Afternoon everyone, so I need some advice. I read on a few threads about sending in a good will adjustment letter to the CEO of Capital One to ask about removing my late payments. I sent in a certified letter and someone from the executive office called me yesterday and stated they received my request and will look into the matter and decide if they are going to honor my request or uphold the reporting to the CRAs and get back to me within 3-5 days. Surprisingly they returned my call today and told me that they would be upholding the reporting they are sending to the CRAs and will not remove the late payments. Any advice as to my next step or what other actions I can take to these removed. As reference, I had 1 30 day late, and 3 60 days late on both of my capital one cards. They were late October-Dec 2016, Jan. 2017. Account was opened June 2015. My accounts are in good standing and I'm paying them off through a debt management program, GreenPath, though it doesn't reflect that on my credit report. ANY advise, I'll greatly appreciate.

Have you looked into the saturation technique yet? If not, I suggest doing a search on the boards to see what the method is about. I am also trying with lates for Cap1. No success yet but sending multiple letters to multiple Cap1 address every month until hopefully something works.

I am also trying to get some lates from from they I got denied twice but I will try again. I haven’t found anyone who has had success with them recently. Let’s pray they have a change of heart

If you are behind now in your payments they aren't going to give you an goodwill removal. Is Greenpath actually paying Cap1 every month or are they saving your payments to offer a settlement? If Greenpath is paying every month then Cap1 will not give you an goodwill either due to you needing to pay off the debt.

The debt is being paid off monthly. So you think I should revisit the issue once I've paid it off. I was planning to use my tax refund to pay off most of it.

Once it is paid off wait a few months then ask again. Don't mail dozens of goodwill requests to the same bank. They simply put you in a circular file. I tried it with Amex and they just sent me a letter not to contact them again and that all further corrspondence would be ignored unless it was from my attorney.

I've been trying for several months with Capital One with 0 success. Tried disputing, GW, begging, etc. etc. to no avail...so far haven't seen much like with them. Fingers crossed for you! I'm keeping hope alive over here
