topic Offer or No? in Rebuilding Your Credit

I have several accounts that have been charged off. It has been almost 3 years and I would like to write them and offer a settlement for a reduced amount if they will delete from my credit. The problem is I do not want to have the statue of limitations start over. Is there a way to do this without admitting to the debt to avoid the statue of limitations from starting over?

Simply state that you are making the offer only to resolve the matter, and that you are making no admission as to the validity of the asserted debt.
