I just read so many exciting post that many of you got a wonderful suprise.
Im even feeling excited that PRA
Finally made a new policy.
Probably cause they have alot of complaints.
Whatever it was Thank PRA for the wonderful score increase
Awesome
My two baddies r Midland and PRA
SOL not till 2022
Know this will be gone and my score will know give me a big jump that I bn needing
Will b working on paying off

PRA - Portfolio Recovery Associates, historically one of the most rigid, unbending CAs out there. PFD? Lol as if.

However in the past week they’ve suddenly done a 180 and are now deleting paid tradelines for people. If this is indeed a new policy and not just someone at PRA going bath-salts before retirement and indiscriminately deleting collection accounts, this will make a HUGE difference for a lot of people on these boards.

I am so so happy as PRA is (was) my last collection left. I bet Midland got the ball rolling on it with their new policy I bet they get way more money now. Or maybe it’s just an early Christmas present. Either way I’ll take it!

I actually called PRA yesterday and was told it is there new policy as of 10/17.

I am sure they've finally figured more people would pay this way. I guarantee it was all about the bottom line.

Agreed - if your tradeline stays on people’s reports whether or not they pay, there’s little incentive to pay outside of someone wanting a mortgage.

The absolute only reason I paid off my PRA account was they sent me paperwork to sue me. If it weren’t for that I would have never paid them as they never deleted until now.
