I just have to shout out to all of you for the advice and support. Started this mess in July.. and since I have closed and removed removed a charge off, 3 collections, and one that wouldn’t PFD. I opened a discover card- secured 200$ deposit in August, which I just received an email update on.. they’re sending a check for my deposit back unsecuring my card AND raising my limit to 750. Last month I was approved for a capitol one card with a line of 1000$. My score went from 588 to *drum roll* 648 since August. I honestly couldn’t have done it without these forums and all of you! A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! I know I’ve still got some work to do... but what a difference! THANK YOU

Nice work OP, you’re definitely doing it right. Get yourself to 3 cards and a self-lender loan, manage them responsibly, and watch your scores go!
