Lucky week. GW letters to the rescue. BB&T

So I sent 30+ GW letter to every BB&T person I could find an address to online. That was on Feb 18th. Tuesday the 26th I got a notification from wallet hub that there was a change in my account. I ignored it since I get one of those daily and is always something like. "we have added offers blah blah blah". Well, today I was checking my emails and had one from the Experian alerts I signed up for. So I went and checked Exprian and noticed that my Fico 8 score went up to 765. The reason for the 100+ points is because my BB&T account is not longer showing my (180 days) late payments. I have not receive a letter back or anything yet, but it looks like someone received my letter and was nice enough to remove the late payments. So far credit karma and wallet hub also reflect a score change, but since I don't trust their scores I will wait for the 19th when my discover fico 8 updates again to see if the changes reflect there as well. Its been a good day...

Good job! When you say "to every person you could find an address for" does that mean you were able to find multiple addresses for your GW or did you send out to multiple people at corporate? I can get a list of about 8-10 execs for the companies I am campaigning but I am not sure if I should send out a letter to each of them or not.

I started looking up the CEO and then went down the list. Every person from the bank that I could get a business address to got a letter. I tried to follow BrutalBodyShots instructions as close as possible.

Will do, I'm going to give it a couple of months before I officially celebrate since it can comeback.
