Coming up on my 30 days since I settled with PRA. How soon did you guys get their tradelines deleted off of your reports once you paid them?

I can’t proved any info as I just paid them and a few days ago they finally update my account to current. I suspect a full 30 days maybe even 35 for it to go away. Pls update this post when you get you’re deleted.

It depends upon the date that they completed their processing as compared to the date that they usually make their regular monthly reporting to the CRA.

They will likely wait until your payment has cleared and posted in their records before forwarding the update to their reporting department.

The reporting department will then normally not post each update separately, but rather will report all updates to each CRA at a standard monthly reporting cycle.

If your payment takes a bit to process, such as delays by your bank, and you miss their normal reporting cycle date by one day, it could easily taken a month and a half. You should normally wait approx 45 days to two months for updates......

In my case it took 29 days for TU and EX. And, around 35 days for EQ

I paid Feb 27. My payment came out of my account March 4th. I believe it was finalized 12 days later on their records. Still waiting on removal.

My payment came out of my account on 3/18 and I received an alert that the account went to $0 on 3/27, but it's not deleted, yet. I'm just watching with anticipation!

I'm not telling anyone to dispute this but I have had success with a dispute and referencing their policies regarding removal of the tradeline. I ran into this when I applied for my last car loan and didnt want to just sit and wait to hopefully have somthing happen at the 30 day mark....and then the 45....... so I disputed and it was taken care of relatively quickly.

I was thinking about disputing it if it doesnt fall off at day 30. Which is today.

Any update? Im getting close to the 30 day mark as well, and not sure if i should just dispute it or keep waiting.

My recommendation is to keep waiting. As has been mentioned in other threads, it can take up to 45 days top be removed from all your reports. PRA requests deletion in 30-days but the CRAs can take a little while to process.

Disputing comes with risks that are not worth taking. There are no grounds to dispute. It is a valid debt. So, again, my recommendation is to NOT poke the bear. Just let them resolve themselves on their own.
