This is one of the worst folks myself dealt with of a CA, but have you ever called. In which I don't recommend and ask for a manager to find out what the problem is. If TU says unable to verify documents, then making a phone to TU should also help in letting them know what else they need to resolve this issue.

I am having problems with afni, over 90 days ago I dv'd them regarding a particular debt and they refuse to respond. They continue to update my report every month with a dispute notice though. I have sent them 4 separtate letters each time I contact them I include a copy of all previous letters and a copy of the green cmrr card.

SInce it has been the amount of time that it has I have written all of the CRAs and made them aware of the situation. I enclosed copies of all letter sent to AFNI as well as a copy of the cmrr card as well as any previous letters sent to the CRA regarding the same issue.

I enclosed all documents pertaining to the issue.

Transunion writes me back saying that " verification documents not available" What else can I do? I have sent them everything I have.

Im not sure thats going to work. CRAs cant remove information verified by the CAs or OC.

The best option is to file complaints with BBB and AG as mentioned.

OP, CRA do not care really about FDCPA and DV validations. Thats between us and the creditors. If you send the CRAs all the information, they will probably simply initiate another dispute and only to be verified again by the CA. The thing about disputing with the CRAs is to check if the CAs are verifying the A/Cs while at the same time ignoring our DVs. As that would, depending upon the situation, be a violation.

The reason I asked is because I had an issue with NMAC about a year ago and no matter what I did they continued to report that I was currently 30 days late even though it had been paid off a year prior. NMAC just couldn't understand. So I got the email address of someone at TU and EQ and they went in and immediately (same day) corrected it and my score shot up 30 points. If it's something that is obviously an error the reps can go in and immediately make a correction.

Could be;

1) CRA was at fault and immediately corrected it upon your email (How many times did you have to request?)

2) If you had been sending emails for over a period of time, the email likely initiated a dispute which was correctly verified by NMAC and hence CRA corrected it?

If not, its interesting.
