In 2012, I was dooped into a contract with TCN and South East financial being the servicer. I cant seem to find any information about this, I do not know if it is a Taboo subject or not but I live in Texas and was not included in the lawsuits in New York or Massachusetts so the benefits and settlement apparently do not apply to me.

I have a old account that is due to fall off by August 2020. I am in the process of buying a home and this is preventing me from closing. Does anyone have any information as to how to get this removed sooner or if it its possible. I do not know if anyone has had success with this or not.

Hopefully the disputes don't cause more trouble. You have to be very specific in telling them that you aren't disputing it and are just wanting EE (early exclusion). Sometimes it takes speaking to a supervisor at the CRAs.

I have seen in the forums that when it is marked disputed on your CRs, sometimes the mortgage UWs have issues with that.

Good luck!
