Anyone have success with getting them to remove a tradeline? Long story short, bought vehicle financed through them in 2012. Perfect payment hx until motor blew up. vehicle was supposed to still be under warranty, however turns out warranty did not transfer to Second owner. Regardless I allowed them to repo the vehicle, and sell it leaving me with a very large balance. I have entered into a payment agreement with them and have been paying them since 2015. Never missing one payment. And I will continue to pay them until it is paid off. However I would love to get this tradeline completely removed from my report. Any assistance ideas numbers or contacts would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums @Svthhvn

You're dealing with the original creditor, so chance of TL being delete is fairly small.

With that said, if I was to try and get creative, I'd offer them entire remaining balance as a payment in exchange for TL removal.

I have actually considered that but I still owe over 7000. I might do it eventually. I have managed to recover somewhat EX is 655 and TU 641 EQ unknown but is usually my lowest. I have one cable collection that I will be paying soon, even though I don't believe I owe it, just to be rid of it. Don't want scores to stagnate because of CPS. So will this tradeline be unable to be reported 7years after DOFD even if I am paying it or does paying on it keep it there until it's paid off?

It will fall of no longer than 7.5 years from DOFD, usually at 7 year mark. Payments do not change that

Thanks! At least now I know 2021 it will be off reports regardless, and if I happen to pay it off before then even better.

Sorry to bring up this old thread, this is my last baddie with them. I have 6 late payments. Three 30 day, two 60 day, and a 90 day that led to it being charged off. I have settled the collection and they are removing it. I wanted to try and goodwill CPS, but can’t find any email addresses for them. If anyone has anything please pm me the info. Thanks in advance.

There's no success stories from here. Best way to find something is Google the name with "GW Success MyFICO" 3 threads no luck.

I'm still here. Lol. Also still have CPS on my credit report!! Good news is.. for me anyway, next year this time it should be GONE. You can google CPS and get mailing addresses for the ceo etc. I never found emails. GL!
