Help removing a few things

Hello,

Does anyone have advice on how to remove a few collection accounts asap?

I'm wondering how to go about doing a few pay for deletes for the following,

Caine and Weiner for Progressive $84

Credit Collection Services for Comcast $285 (Do I contact them or Comcast? CCS started reporting in Jan of this yr)

Midwest Recovery Systems for Check n Go $255

Jefferson Capital Systems for Fingerhut $342

These are sitting there driving me nuts! I want them gone once and for all. Thanks in advance!

Check their websites to see if they offer pay for delete. Then, call the collection agencies. Make your offer. Ask them to send it in writing. When you get the agreement, make the payment. Give it 30 days.

I know Caine & Weiner (collecting for progressive) does PFD, that one should be easy enough.

I also believe that Jefferson does PFD. Search the threads, for sure!

There is also a good thread that helps colpect DPs of who does/doesn't do PFD. Nothing is set in stone, tho, so you should always try!

Collection Agencies that do PFD

I am mot certain on the other 2. Perhaps others will chime in and give you their advice!

First you may want to see if the debt was sold or assigned.
