Just want to say THANK YOU!

Hey everyone! This is my first post but I've been on the forums as a LONG TIME LURKER! I just want to say thank you for all the advice. I started out last year in June with a 560 score. It was depressing and I felt it would take 7 years to dig out. I had also defaulted on my student loans.

Welp, a year later as of today all of my balances are paid off, I am rehabbing my student loans, my fico score is a 680 and my TU is 730. This week I opened an account with NFCU (wife is a member) and was going to apply for a Secured card. I read here that there is nothing to lose to just apply for cash rewards and see what happens. I did apply and I was approved for unsecured Cash Rewards for $3,000.00 at 9.6%. UNBELIEVABLE! I am still on the journey and know as my student loans get better and my relationship with NFCU gets better, that the possibilities are endless!
