Applying for a card after a CLI?

If I get a CLI on my Quicksilver on September 25 and I applied for a new card on October 1st will my new credit limit for the Quicksilver show when they pull my credit? I'm only waiting to apply for a new card until I get my credit limit up, but I'm not sure how long it will take my new limit to show on my credit report.

If you're applying for another card with a CapOne, they'll know. Otherwise no one will be aware until it hits your reports. If it's another bank, wait until your reports reflect your new CL before applying.

Cap One reported my CLI when my next statement cut and was reported to the bureaus.

Like mentioned above, if the app isn't with CapOne, no one will know about the CLI until it is reported.

In that case I will apply for Walmart MasterCard first so I won't have to garden for an extra month. I'm gardening until next month when I'm eligible for a CLI on my Quicksilver so having low credit limits won't be an issue.

Gardening is for applying for credit. Not CLI request. Did you get a CLI yet. Is that why your waiting for 6 months? If not smash the CLI button its a SP.

September 25 will be when I can request a CLI with capital one. I was wondering if I should wait until the CLI reports to apply for discover which would force me to wait another month and a half. Or should I apply now if the CLI on my capital one won't make much difference with the discover.
