Affirm/Afni settlement help

I have 3 accounts with affirm as the lender and afni is the collection company. It shows 3 different tradelines as afirm the one that added and put a comment that afni is the collection company.

I called afni and the total accounts come up to 1934.00, I offered to settle all 3 accounts for 1025.00. They ageed but wont PFD because afirm is the one who taged my CR. I plan on paying this off on the 9th but after its paid should i reach out to afirm and asked for the deleation? Anyone deal with afirm that could help me out? At least 3 seprate tradelines won't update every month.

I had 3 Affirm accounts that went to collection as well. First time, it went to Afni and went to TrueAccord collection agency. I paid off all 3 accounts with TrueAccord and checked Affirm web-site and showing with $0 but didn't update on reports yet. I think Affirm takes few months to report back to credit agencies, so I will wait a month or two and see if they show up with $0 balance. Good luck.

Where you able to get afirm to deleate the trade lines?

Not yet. I will try to contact Affirm later on, but Affirm only reports to Experian. On my Experian report shows that it will be deleted from my report on year 2014.

If you pay AFNI, but they refuse to PFD, all you can do is submit GW requests to AFNI after payment.

Did this debt get sold to AFNI or are they just collecting on behalf of Affirm?

If they are collecting only, you can request from Affirm to recall the CAs in exchange for payment (usually not a settlement amount, but full balance). If you pay AFNI and Afirrm still owns it, they have no incentive to remove the CAs since it is already paid, so there is not debt to "recall".

You can only GW request Affirm if they are still own the account or are reporting independently, which it sounds like they still may own the debt if AFNI claims Affirm are the one's requesting reporting?

If Affirm no longer owns the debt, requesting that they remove AFNI CAs after you pay AFNI will probably not work, as they no longer own the debt.

Affirm still owns it and afni is just collecting on their behalf.

Did you have any luck getting Affirm to delete once you paid? I paid Afni but only Affirm shows on my credit report.
