I want to ask Experian about an EE. Yes, I know it's very unlikely, but things change from time to time, and nothing ventured, nothing gained. Have nothing to lose. (Was successful with Trans Union.)

The published phone number for Experian (866-617-1894) won't help with anything other than your Experian membership. Does anyone have a better phone number?

You can speak to a live person by using the right sequence on the menu, usually to dispute.

Then you can ask for a supervisor

I recently spoke with agent using 877-284-7942. Follow prompts using option 2 for Credit Reports.

That number only discusses your Experian membership.

That was the third telephone number I tried. I have yet to succeed in speaking with a live person, even if I try to initiate a dispute.

I suppose the next step is contacting my Congressperson.

I just tried it and got through to reporting section just fine. They don't make it easy, but right option combo will unlock rep.

also....I believe the selection was something like "general questions about your credit report" (opt 2 maybe)

Thanks for the number ... no help. I worked my way through every combination of menu items. Not a single one brought me to a human.
