Transunion early exclusion issues

I have 4 derog accounts scheduled to fall off transunion within the next month. I called experian and they removed the account (only one of the negatives was reporting to experian) with no questions asked.

When I called Transunion ( I spoke to 2 reps, on two separate calls within 30 min) and they both said they have no ability to remove things before the removal date. The fall off date according to transunion official credit report is 3/2021 for all four accounts.

What am I doing wrong? I am calling the dispute line although obviously this isn't a dispute. On the first call I mentioned early exclusion and he said 3/2021 is the earliest it will come off and these accounts aren't eligible for "early exclusion". On the second call I didn't mention early exclusion and the rep just said "I want to set your expectations before we open your file, we have no ability to remove any accounts early". They both were well aware that these would fall off naturally in March and still it didn't seem to matter. Please help I'd like to have these removed now.

Seems to be hit or miss. Many have had great luck. I've had success in past years with no questions asked. Since October I've had zero luck - always told No Soup.

Thanks for chiming in. I saw your post end of last year asking what was up with Transunion EE and was hoping I'd have better luck. I haven't seen any posts of people getting EE from the time you wrote your post through now though....Maybe they did stop temporarily?

I'm pretty sure I have seen people more recently having success but I can't swear to it. I've stopped trying as I should see my last derog falling off starting 4/1/2021. At this point the hassle isn't really worth it. I may still try though, even for no other reason than to needle them a little lol 😂

I totally agree I sort of just don't want to even mess with it knowing within 3 weeks it'll fall off. I'm curious what my Experian scores will update to. I haven't been above 700 fico 8 in 7 years and am just super excited to have everything come off. I'm hoping to see a boost to 740+ but we'll see.

I had a charge off get deleted last week from TU. I submitted it as dispute on their TU website and put my reason "account too old." I've read a few people had success so I gave it a try. But mine was a weird one. It stated estimated removal was 09/2020 but my DOFD was in 2014 (so should have fallen off this year). I wrote in the comment that since the estimated removal date had passed for several months, I'm requesting for this charge off to get removed. It was done within a few hours. Same charge off on EX is set to fall off in May and EQ in July of this year.

I disputed 5 accounts last week on the TU website for being too old. All were to be deleted Aug 2021.

All accounts were deleted immediately.

Looking forward to your update. I wasn't going to EE on TU because I'm collecting data points for a different thread, but I thought I'd give it a try just to see what would happen. Called them this morning and the rep told me there was nothing she could do. Transferred to a Sup, and the Sup adamantly told me there was nothing he could do.

I know that when this happens most people practice HUCA, but i didn't want to make a second call in one day.

I have had success within the last few months removing 3 or 4 accts from TU via EE. All were within the 6 month removal period. My calls were both initially declined and I persisted in speaking to TU US based representative who then helped me with the removals. I have 1 30 day late left due off in April and TU will finally be clean. Im sitting at 695 Fico 8 now. This has been a long time coming!
