Paid off Last Charge Off!

I just thought I'd share. Its been a long road and it feels good to look at my credit report and see all $0s. I've paid off 7 charge-offs from when I went through a divorce. The last one today was Amex with a balance of $6400. I settled for $2000. The previous one I paid off was Citibank last month. When it hit my credit profile, my EX and EQ jumped to 670 and TU went to 704!. I cant wait to see where I land when this one hits. Ive never been happier to see 2 grand leave my checking account. I teared up a bit. lol

curious to know, are the charge offs showing up as settled on your CB? Didn't know it's possible to get to the 700s with charge offs reported. I have 6 as well 🥴

settling my last one next month.

Yeh they are. The status says"Legally paid in full for less than the full balance" and the balance is $0.

@JustJay119 Congratulations. I KNOW the feeling i just paid my last charge off that had 127% utilization. 😬. They were updating monthly so I'm hoping when it reports to $0 at the end of the month I won't see too much damage. But with that card it made my utilization 54%. So, once it's gone I'll be at like 30%. I'm slowly grinding those balances down. I'm hoping to see a big jump when I do. 🤞🏾
