How long did it take for pay for deletes to come off your credit?

Does disputing them get them off faster? Or just waiting until they update?

Just wait. Disputing them can mess things up. It can take 60 days to get completed (most the time faster). Don't be surprised if first it updates as paid then gets removed.

Just wait. Disputing them can mess things up. It can take 60 days to get completed (most the time faster). Don't be surprised if first it updates as paid then gets removed.

Even showing as paid would look better though right?

Im going through the process of buying a house and just curious if maybe they'll be reflecting something in the next week or so to maybe get my apr down some for the house we want.

With Jefferson capital from my personal experience i paid them on the 18th of December last year and it was removed from all 3 on the 28th of December and they maybe because of when i paid them and when they update to the bureaus. But don't rush the delete because it is already great that you don't have to negotiate it with them.

Okay awesome! They referred it to unifin but I saw that's pretty standard? Was yours directly through Jefferson or referred out?

Directly through Jefferson capital. Didn't even know they referred to others. As soon as i saw verizon deleted their tradeline and Jefferson was added i went and paid it because i think they received in October of 2020 so i paid 2 months later.

Never dispute accurate collections, especially if they're ones that offer PFD and you have already paid them. It could prolong/mess up the process. Just let the process play out and be patient. It should all be gone within 30-60 days.

Okay thats what I was thinking as well, I just saw somewhere mentioned people were disputing and putting so and so confirmed deletion of this account in the dispute.

But I don't want to mess any of it up for sure.

Yea no that's not a good idea because technically collection agencies aren't even supposed to remove their reporting even if paid as per their agreement with the CRAs.
