Capital One Goodwill Letter

Good evening. I've lurked here for a while and just wanted to let everyone know there is hope. I have 2 capital one cards and had 1 30 day late last April. Work had been slow due to the pandemic and the funds weren't there. I called capital one twice asking to have it removed and both times was told they couldn't do it. I started researching here and saw where people had emailed and mailed in goodwill letters. I decided to go the email route first before mailing any letters. 6 days ago I emailed the CEO, several VP's and the CFO. Tonight I received a call that they were going to update my file and have the credit bureaus as well. Don't give up hope people. It was as easy as sending several emails.

Congratulations on the removal! This is awesome to hear! My wife has a 30 day late payment on her Capital One card from 2017! I think I need to do the same for her! Thank you for sharing this!

Great success! I had my 30 day late the same month and year! I emailed the CEO and VPs last week sooooooooo I am hoping to have a phone call or suprise removal here soon also!

Just got my CK alert 📢 today that vantage 3.0 score up +23 pts (now let's see what MyFico does once it catches up and updates)

Cap1 came through and removed lates on both cards from 2020! Yes!

I've sent them like 5 letters and all denials sadly do you have emails I could give a try?
