Barclays/Trak America??

Is trak America the internal collection department for Barclays?? Because it’s reporting every month on Barclays end and it’s telling me to call Trak America… I’m confused.

Trak America is like an assignment agency - they match up Barclays collections accounts with local debt collectors. It is one of the main reasons Barclays debt collectors dropped my case - I had it in writing to contact Trak America from Barclays, but the collection agency of record was Foster & Garbus. When I challenged this is court (as well as a few other details), Foster & Garbus dropped the case against me and no one ever made another attempt to collect against me and the account has since aged off.

So how do I get this taken care of? Barclays no longer owns the debt? It's updating monthly with Barclays. No CA on my report. Who do I pay?

If Barclays is still reporting it, they still own the debt. In my case they did as well. They just weren't dealing with servicing or collecting on it. They may have assigned it to a local debt collector/attorney.
