Dispute Updated - Do I DV?

I'm having no luck with duplicates right now - first there is a judgement that is reporting twice, and now there is an unpaid collection reporting twice.

I disputed both - both were updated and verified.

What do I do now? Do I dispute the judgement again - I *know* there is only one and it was paid, but it is literally reporting the same amount, creditor and acc number twice.

What about the collection(s)? They are also the same account number, amount, date and creditor. It is a returned check fee ($20) being reported twice. Do I DV? Did the dispute outcome already validate it? Do I assume that there are 2 and DV both on the same letter?

It is so irritating - this and a $35 paid medical collection are the only baddies in the last 5 years and they just won't budge. Such silly little amounts having such a huge impact!

On the judgments, dispute via mail and include a copy of that section of your report. Highlight both of them and state they are duplicates, there is only 1 judgment. Send it CMRRR to the CRA.

On the collection, is the same CA reporting both of these? If so, I would send them a DV to start with.

I have a similar situation with a collection reporting twice. I've sent out a DV letter and I'm awaiting a response. If they can't validate both (which I'm sure they wont be able to), I'm going to dispute again wiht the CRA and request that they provide proof of how they veriifed the debt if the deem it to be valid. I'm going to then take that information and file a complaint with the BBB and AG's office in my state. Hopefully the DV will take care of it though.
