Experian Boost?

Just a quick question, I'd like to get the nice boost from Experian boost (see what I did there lol) BUT this pile of crap can not find ONE of my bills, not a Cable, Phone, Internet, Electric NOTHING!! how can I force it to see em? can't get these people on the phone what so ever (unless one of you know of a way to do that)

Just an FYI, most lenders will throw your boosted score out of the window and use whatever standard FICO version they already use, likely coupled with a version of their own proprietary UW algorithms. EX Boost is a gimmick. Just my two pennies.

I agree 100% but I have a lender that has a pass or fail system, literaly over a specific score you in.. and im a few shy lol

If you're a few points shy before being "boosted", you'll still be a few points shy after the boost; it's a scam which will not benefit you at all.

Last I checked it only checks for those bill payments from checking or savings account. If you are paying with a credit card (even one linked to the same bank), it won't be picked up.

Like everyone else said; Boost is not worth it. Even if you get a Boost, almost all lenders will disregard it. Apparently some mortgage lenders will ask you to turn it off. And you give Experian a ton of info into your accounts

Did this lender specifically tell you they'd consider a "boosted" score?

yes, he said straight up pass or fail score, he even said they dont care if it sbuilt up by Authorized users lol and they ONLY pull Experian. and im SOOO close to where boost will get me there but its a pile of crap lol

My gut tells me Boost will not help you in this situation.

Instead of focusing on boost, have you looked at your revolving utilization? That's typically the fastest way to get a bump.

What CCs do you have open and what are they presently showing for CL / utilization % ?

We just had a never ending post about this like 5 mins ago. It's a gimmick and a data mining tool that lets Experian into your finances at the transaction level. That's insane access to your bank and credit card accounts. And, even if you're somehow OK with that...lenders ignore your 'boosted' score.

If you need a quick score bump, have you looked at legitimate ways like optimizing your reported utilization? That's a 'gimmick' that actually works.
