Discover approval same day of CH7 discharge

I'm excited but mostly suprised, chapter 7 BK discharged 9/10. I decided to check Discover pre-qual tool as they were not IIB. I got an offer for the Discover it secured card that will be eligibile for graduation in 8 months. This is great because now I get to avoid the crappy predatory credit cards that I thought I would have to sign up for. Next I'm going for CapOne, however they were IIB so I think that will take 6-12 months. Covid-19 really kicked my financial butt, but this is a great base for AA as I have no reason to ever close it.

Current Fico 08 scores are: EQ 588 TU 462 EX 532 as of 9/11/2021

Wow congrats to you! It took me a month to get approved after discharge...for a secured card.
