Almost all banks, creditors.ect. Have/had a banner on top of their website for help with Covid problems. You could try and talk to them. Tell them you have documentation. Might be a little late to the party now. Should have called then. If they wont help. Which I hope for you they do. Midland will delete if PIF or settled. So all the collections will disapear from your reports. Sadly the CO's will stay on your reports. Best of luck!!!!!!!!

Edit: Just went to Comenity's site. Its there.

https://comenity.com/were-here-help

I, unfortunately have 6 chargeoffs with Comenity Bank and they sent them to collection agency(Midland Credit Management). I own the debt and want to deal straight with Comenity to pay them in full. Covid 19 job loss put me in this situation.

My question is, If I call Comenity will the reclaim the debt from Midland so i can deal directly with them? And if so, will Midland dissapear off my credit report.

You would only be able to bypass Midland if Comenity still owns the debt, which, usually, once it's in Midland's hands, means they (Midland) own it. Comenity doesn't usually contract out the debt. They simply sell it.

Anyway, regardless, as mentioned above, Midland deletes their TL once paid/settled, as long as it's been at least 2 years since DOFD. But yes, unfortunately, the OC charge off TL won't be deleted.

Just pay Midland - they will delete. No need to ask for them to delete, it's their policy to delete.

Comenity will not deal with you once Midland has the debt. Just pay or negotiate a number with Midland. Just know that if you want to settle for less, Midland will ask you a bunch of questions about your income and expenses.

Just pay and move on. It will be deleted off your collections inside of a month.
