Late payments removal successes - how I did it.

So this is my story on how I removed some late payments off my credit report. I recently got denied for a car I've wanted for multiple years I finally realized it was my time to get my **bleep** together. For the past year I've basically paid off all my debt that was either charged off or late. I thought that doing that would get my score a lot higher. My score only went up from high 400s to now 595. After browsing all over the internet and watching videos I came accross goodwill letters. I started writing some and making some calls. So far I've written 4 letters and made 2 phone calls. Out of those 2 phone calls I got city bank Best Buy credit card to remove 3 late payments that I had on my credit report with 3 days. I failed with navy federal but I'll try to send a letter within the next couple of days and update on how it goes. Since I only sent the letters 2 days ago I'm still waiting on a response from them but I'm keeping my hopes up. I'm so glad I came across this website and hopefully someone reads this and this helps them out. Specially if it's someone with late payments on their Best Buy credit card.
