It's the Final Countdown

This is it. In 2 years, my reports will be completely clear of derogatories and inquiries. For the longest time it seemed like the day would never come and now I'm starting my countdown. Shoot, I just realized the other day that I'm gonna be under 5/24 in June

I'm very grateful to the people and knowledge gathered here. When I joined in 2018, my scores were in the 500-515 range after a stay in the hospital completely obliterated them in 2014. While I knew about credit and finances, I was surprised at how much I didn't know. I have no idea what my scores are now because I'm gardening and don't care, but I know they were about 690 in July 2020. At one point I broke 700. That's with still having 1 open chargeoff (Merrick) and 1 erroneous workers comp medical collection that I refuse to pay on principle.

So again, I want to thank everyone, and for the new rebuilders my advice is don't spree. That was my biggest mistake. I opened what I could whether it made sense or not. The result was a bunch of low limits on cards I ended up closing because I didn't use them (looking at you Nordstrom). I could have been back in with chase long ago if I had been patient. 🤦 I also would have higher limits, but what can you do? Hindsight is 20/20.

Were in the same boat. You got 2. I got less than 4 left to reach the the squeaky clean world. I remember when you joined. You asking questions as I was. You applied what you learned and helped others and thats what made you a CL. It will be here before you lnow it. I'm thankful as you to all the people who helped as you feel the same. Many have moved on. But I remember to this day who they were. Seems like yesterday doesnt it? Congrats B on what you applied and what lies ahead. You got this man.
