LVNV (Resurgent) will delete upon payment/settlement. There is very likely a one time lump sum settlement offer at around 50%. I just paid and it was gone from all reports within a week.

I apprecaite any and all help!

Welcome to the forum.

For best score bump (which you state is not your current goal -- but will help you get that travel card and cli's), you'll want to take care of all derogatory accounts.

LVNV and Midland will typically negotiate AND delete once settled if the account is more than 2 years old.

Portfolio Recovery Collection is also known to negotiate for smaller amount (how much they reduce to tends to depend on original creditor).. once paid they will also delete the derogatory.

I have no experience with NCI, that lower settlement offer sure makes that Collection easier to pay.

F.Y.I. Chase typically needs to be made whole again to ever issue you another credit card. If any of their cards are on your radar now or as a future travel card, you'll want to contact Chase directly and see what they want from you to get back in their good graces.

Be careful with your contact with Chase if you can't/won't pay the full balance including interest immediately, as to not restart the statute of limitations (contact, depending on age; will likely cause it to reappear on your credit reports as well as restart Collection activity, which could include getting a judgment against you).

I would prioritize the debts you can still be sued over, followed by the debts that are reporting monthly.

As mentioned above in my reply, prioritize Chase if you want another credit card from them in the next 20+ year's.

As far as the all credit cards reporting zero, the scoring penalty is around 15 points if I remember correctly... if you aren't making any large purchases any time soon, those extra points will mean very little to you.

Trailing interest could cause none of your cards to report a zero balance BTW.

When you decide those points are needed, just let a (one) statement for one credit card cut with a balance ($5+... but under 29% of limit). You don't have to pay interest, once the statement cuts you can pay in full.

Like everyone said, pay the baddies and the ones who pfd first. On the AZEO, it does give you a score bump but so what if you don't need it. If you need it, leave 20 on a card for the next month and instant bump. Just sit, stop using cards except what you can pay in full each month. Score will rise high! Finances before fico!

Persistence is probably the reason some have luck and Other's don't... could be the explanation/reason for lates too.

If you haven't yet, may I suggest reading through the thread the link in my signature takes you to... I have never paid one red cent in interest and wont. Been AZEO since 2015. Didnt stop me. I do run up high amounts. But its paid. In the other high rollers sections yes it may apply if you want to do AZEO or not. Most here need help getting out of a hole or starting fresh. No reason unless its an emergency to carry a balance at any time. Paying interest is like throwing a dollar bill out the window each mile on the highway. Your not going to go back and get it.
