Grain Credit, status of account says late 30 days for March but Payment history says OK

Hey Everyone. I have a Grain account. When I got the account I put it on auto pay. It autopaid for over a year and then I logged in one day in march and it said past due please reconnect your bank. So apparently at some point my bank was disconnected by the app so it did not autopay. I got no email saying it disconnected so I ended up getting a late payment. It's weird though. My account status says Late 30 days but my payment history for march says OK and does not show a missed payment. Since every thing is back to current I know next month account status will say current again. So once that happens and since march says OK will it look like a payment was never missed?

When you say your "account" says 30 days late, is that the issuer account or your credit report?

Issuers can't report something late to the bureaus until it is 30+ days past due, if you caught it and made the payment on the 30th day you might have the late remark on your account with the ledner, but as far as your credit report goes you should be ok. Or the issuer just didn't bother to report it because it was your first late, and then just barely.

This same thing happened to me with Grain. Super annoying, nothign negative on my CR though, just internally I was late and paid before they had reported it. Since you're current, you should be in the clear on the CR.
