I have BoA CO that i want to get removed. From what I gather on this forum and other places, this is very unlikely from them. With that being said, has anyone had sucess with removing a CO from BoA with a PFD or any other methods?

I'm finnaly in a position where I'm able to pay for my bad debt / try to get my negatives removed and from what im reading I fell like BoA is going to be the biggest hassle so i just want to try and set my self up for the best posible outcome. Also, Should i try to get them to allow me to pay off the max CL so im not paying for all of the extra late fees, or should I PIF to improve my chances for deletion.

myself....if $400 of that is late fees, I'd start out lower with the intention of settling around $650, I'd start at $300 (they'll laugh at you but that's ok.

There have been recent posts, either here or on one of the other credit fora I follow, that mention Chase has been offering settlements at 25% of the principal owed for recent charge-offs.

I would offer them $300 and see what they say. No point in paying them a dime more than they will accept to mark the debt paid for less than owed and to stop updating. Good luck.
