credit boost "Tricks"

so I had my credit in the upper 800's I got very sick for a bit and there was literally nothing that could be done and I missed some payments im wayy down now.

So I was wondering (and maybe if we can list alot of them we can pin this for future people) all the little things we can add to a report to help out.

Rent reporters

Rental Kharma

Kikoff

Stellar Fi

Loqbox

Credit Strong

Self lender

Credit rent boost

Grow Credit

ESUSU

Grow Bills

are a few that I know of, some let you report rent, utilities even netflix / Hulu

What else can we do to "pad" a report while we are trying good will letters?

There really isn't any "tricks" if you have negatives reporting getting more accounts will not balance it out, it doesn't work like that .

Agreed. Plus, many creditors discard the data/artifical scores created by those reporting services.

True but the "non manual review" ones like credit cards etc im sure it will help, that way you can get cards (primaries)

On your score. EX Boost is ignored on lenders credit score report print out that we'll never see.

I knew EX boost did but none of the ones I mentioned are based on Ex boost as far as I know

This is also a slippery slope because if one has a lot of negative/outstanding debt, the last thing they need is more debt. Someone who is bad with credit and has unpaid collections has not learned yet how to be more responsble with credit so it's a bad thing to just get more accounts open because history will more likely than not repeat itself.

By the sound of things, I'm thinking the only "trick" you really have up your sleeve is a card called "time".

Unfortunately there's no magic trick to raise scores. Most of the advertisements are pure gimmics, Even the Experian boost isnt helpful. There is no way to artificially raise your scores. The only thing you can do is make perfect payments and in time your score will come back.

As others have said, TIME is the "trick". Did you waste your time thinking it would work or did you use your time wisely paying on time and fixing negatives?

All the creditors/services you listed will do is lower AAoA, and the more you open the further down the rabbit hole you go.... and that's the true "trick" on anyone applying the alleged "trick method".
