AmEx blacklist or not?

I wasn't going to apply because I know they don't even consider someone with a BK7 for 61 months at the earliest, but I was curious as to whether I was indeed on their blacklist or not so I ran thru their pre-qualify page. They were IIB for a small amount, I don't remember exactly but I know for sure that it was less than $500. I expected a different kind of message if I was blacklisted but maybe that is the standard message, but I was confused because it does say I am eligible to apply for any card.

So does anyone know if this means that I am not on their blacklist?

That is the message you get if you are on the blacklist; they then follow up with a letter saying you were declined due to prior unsatisfactory account.

It could be a different decline reason so you have to wait for the letter, but I bet that is it.

Looking at your sig it says your bk7 was discharged July 2021. That is definitely too early to get in with Amex especially if they were included. The consensus around here is you have to wait at least 5.5 years before they will consider letting you back in If they do at all.

Blacklist or not, Amex will not consider you potentially eligible less than 61 months from filing, and even then, it's a YMMV situation.

i filed my CH 13 in April 2017...got my DC in early January 2021. Amex was included in my BK. I tested the waters at 60 months from filing. I received no pre-quals. I tested the waters again at 61 months and was approved for the Gold. Since then, I have been approved for the BCE, BCP, Hilton Homors, Marriott Bonvoy and Delta Gold.

The absolute soonest is 61 months from filing but based on DPs on here, time served on Amex's blacklist can last far longer.
