there are credit attorneys who can apply strong pressure in cases like these. they would file a lawsuit against gmc for blablabla reason. gmc would remove the baddy to avoid the litigation. the question is how much the atty would want to get that result for you. may not be worth the atty fee.

Hello people, well this year has been good and bad. Bought my first house in March but after that each month old collections came back. Scores were hanging around 700s now back to low 600s. Not good. I'm taking care of all that soon but I want to first try and remove some late payments on my auto loan with GM financial from 2019. I've searched for information but hard to find. I want to try and email the CEO. If that doesn't work, I'll write the GW letter. Any information you guys have on GM is greatly appreciated. Email, numbers, etc

A consumer's only hope to have accurate derogatory items removed from their credit reports any earlier than what the law allows would be for the creditor to grant a goodwill deletion, which is at the creditor's sole discretion. (or an EE after 6.5+ years)

Hiring an attorney to attempt removing accurately reported items from a credit report would be nothing more than an exercise in futility in addition to a huge waste of money as GMC isn't going to be intimidated by what would amount to a frivolous lawsuit lacking any legal merit or precedent to back it up. Any attorney who agreed to take someone's money in an attempt to remove accurate information is severely lacking any ethical standards.
