Just removed my BK7 From transunion

So i've always read about disputing bk7 a little early.

My filing date was 11/7/14 transunion just deleted it after dispute..

Not sure If wanna mess with experian or equifax.

Thank you. All my socres are in the mid to low 60s.

I'm a AU on a 25K credit card with 1% balance.

And my on NFCU card with 11k limit. No balance.

NFCU uses Tran on there credit wise...I wonder what thats gonna look like in a few days.

Has anyone had good luck with early removal from experian or equifax...ive seen some good things but some not good things lol

Experian should be no problem but not until 30 days early.... Multiple people have posted here to just let EQ just do its thing organically, but if you want to try your luck their policy is to allow requests 3 months early.

Its a great feeling isnt it ! I had the same success last month with TU. I couldn't resist trying EX EQ and as suspected, a no go. Still, Its great to be in the final months of that mess. Congratulations on your EE !!

I am definetly happy about it. I'm also gonna be car shopping in a couple months and plan on going with Navy fed...I was recetnly appoved with them but gonna re apply in two months! They use Trans so maybe it will help on rate lol

Did you mean to say 2014 and not 2013 for your filing date? If it was indeed 2014, you really scored getting the BK off TU 19 months early. I disputed and got mine off TU 14 months early and I thought I had scored big!

I can't wait to see the results when my scores refresh next month. I know it won't help Experian or Equifax but I am a NFCU member and they primarly use Transunion.

Congrats. EX will be 3 months early only. They wont touch it until then.

Are there any risks associated with asking for EE from TU earlier than the normal TU 6 month EE?

Do you also dispute the accounts IIB?

My 13 filing was on 4/1/2017. Due to age off 3/24. 11 months to go. 5 until the 6 month window.

Did you put the wrong date of 11/14. Would'nt that be 22024 and not 2023. Did I read wrong? or am I missing something?

So pulled my free report and the BK7 is indeed gone.

I disputed with TU and got my BK7 removed 14 months early. It deleted within an hour of disputing. No need to wait until six months out with TU.

So how long did the removal to reflect anything on your score...or did it.

Anytime the score is refreshed it will update. There has to be some action that asks FICO to recalculate your score, like initiating a new report be generated. Even though their score is worthless, pulling CreditKarma should give you some idea of the general magnitude of the change when looking at updated scores on TU and EQ. Lenders that provide FICO scores only give you the score they pull once a month.

@JoeRockheadWas passing thru. Got em backwards. EX is 3 months. EQ is 1 month but we know how EQ is. Yes let it die a slow death.
