topic First ever 30 day late payment to discover or any CC in Rebuilding Your Credit

So I found out today via MyFico that I had a 30-day late notice on my personal credit; I immediately went to Discover and paid the minimum and more. I tried calling twice to speak to two different people, and they were rude, but the answer was that they couldn't do anything about removing that from my Credit Report or credit history. I'm trying to buy a house in the next month and am currently in the last leg, but when my credit is pulled again, I'm scared that this will affect my odds of getting this house.

I don't have any other late payments on my credit whatsoever over the past ten years (yes, I understand that the most you can view is seven years). I've been with Discover since 2017 and never had any issues. I always paid on time or before the time.

Unfortunately it does happen to even the best, missing a payment. I wouldn't worry about it too much if it was me. They could have at least in good will attempted to remove it, even if unsuccessful. But there isn't anything you can do to make them remove it. Hope all goes well with your home purchase, it should, one late payment isn't going to be calling the Pope to come make a decision on it for you.
