    <description>&lt;P&gt;Stop paying companies&amp;nbsp;and do it yourself they don't have any special magic despite what they might of said and cost you a bundle.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Read up on here and as you are doing reach out for help.&amp;nbsp; Some of those collections might re-appear on your credit that the&amp;nbsp; other two companies got off of it just a FYI.&amp;nbsp; Best bet is to try to contact creditor or CA and try to settle paid for delete if at all possible for either whole or partial.&amp;nbsp; Many other people will weigh in as well.&amp;nbsp; just do as much reading as you can here and pretty much you will find every answer you likely seek.&amp;nbsp; Best of luck&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Paid credit repair companies - still need help…</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've paid 2 credit repair companies and they did what they could, dispute rounds etc etc and I still have 4 charge off accounts reporting. Any suggestions how to resolve these acts they're dragging my sco&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;chase cc - charged off in 2018, but I made a payment in January 2022, balance r eporting $4k&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Community America cc - last payment July 2018, balance reporting $1,000&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Community America car repo- last payment October 2018, balance reporting $2,595&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Synchrony overstock - last payment November 2017, balance reporting $0, highest was $1,500&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have 4 good mixed trade lines reporting w 2yrs + good payment&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;+ 1 above. Do it yourself and you'll enjoy the results that much more. PFD seems your best option and would most likely provide the quickest results.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Pay or settle the COs first. Next, attack those collection accounts. Call the collection companies and ask for PFD (pay for deletion). Be ready to pay on the spot. You'd be surprised how many collection companies will agree to PFD. If they say no, then hang up and try again. If you still are unable to negotiate a PFD, then just pay/settle the collection. Paid collections viewed more favorably.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Last but certainly not least, TIME. Time heals all credit wounds. Keep up the good behavior and the effects of previous bad behavior will fade.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please use this board as a resource. You aren't the first to face these problems, and won't be the last. We're here to help!</description>
