OK...so I fell off the FICO wagon just a tad...

Even though I was determined to not spend on anything unnecessary.....

I got home from work today (payday) and paid...

200 on one cc, this mo 500 total pmt(car pmt..now 2600 bal),

100 on another to make this month 300 total pmt (bal...about 275),

300 on another...the hardest one & finally got bal under 6k! (this card has the lowest int rate of all 3).

I still have more left over for other pmts.....so....

I walked down to main street & had an awesome dinner of home made pasta & garlic shrimp in a Medeterranean sauce& fresh salad & two glasses of absolutely yummy wine! $41.00 & tip....in cash, of course!

I decided to celebrate...May 31 makes 2 years since I walked into MY house...with MY keys...for the very first time!! This was a justifiable expense...wouldn't you say??

***If I can buy a house ....on my own (from hi 4's - lo 5's scores in 05)....anyone can!!

Thanks!!! I am down to almost the big goose egg on 1 cc, getting that car pmt WAY down (my bro got me the car with his cc...then he screwed up, didn't READ the note from cc saying any more purchases will bring int up to 25%!! He bought brake pads!!!! Now I have a 25% rate ), I have another I didn't mention...bal - $35.00! So these are all really getting way down.

When all I have left in rev accts with a bal is my Wachovia card... I'll try again for the re-fi. It just doesn't look like it's in the cards right now...

But I'm still way-happy about my house! Wanna see???? It's almost 100 years old!

(I can't help it...I enjoy showing her off)

Thanks!! I love it too!

I'm in western virginia. Front Royal. It was chartered in something like 1781. This was certainly Civil War territory! Lots of History here. I need to rent a metal detector for my yard!

Congrats B!! I cant wait to have a 2 year anniversary at my new home. I can only imagine at the moment.

We will start looking for a home hopefully next week.. so Maybe a year before i get the joy you are feeling.

AHHH West Virginia is very pretty, only drove through there once. But, I remember it was pretty. Almost feel like you should have a creek by your house with one of those wooden things (whatever they are) turning in the water. What a picture perfect house!

The important thing about credit scoring is that it only matters when you are seeking new credit.

I dont like garlic shrimp!

You sound like you have your credit poop well in hand, and know the score!

It is nice to see success.

You know the mantra.... never pay a dime short or a month late, and Mr. "Fair" Isaac is you friend!

Oh, I hear you loud & clear on the never short...never late! We're all here cleaning up the mess from that road...right?? I don't totally have it all together, but it's getting there.

It's been 4 years 9 months since I was late on anything!

Woo Hoo...today is the day! 2 years in my new/old house!

First, I've never had anyone refer to me as the "beacon" I guess I should be a little happier in the place I'm sitting (credit-wise).I'll admit I'd be happier to have those 7's like you have, but this year about 3 baddies fall off!

Aqua....Consider yourself really lucky!! I didn't get this place until I was 48! (hit 49 about a month later) So getting your first place at 40 is 10 years ahead of me!!

I do thank all of you here for your wonderful congrats & comments on my place. She truly is my haven!
