How are these closed accounts affecting my credit?

These shows up on my Equifax report under closed accounts. They do not show up in the other two reporting agencies. How much are the "potentially negative" accounts affecting my credit? From what I can tell they are not being reported as collections. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

We'd still need more information but being several of the listed accounts imply some sort of derogatory information, those negatives will continue to affect your scores until they fall off your reports. That date is determined by the DOFD (date of first default) that led to the account being closed or charged off.

If any of the closed accounts had a balance, that balance is still factored into your utilization, but the credit limit isn't. This will have additional negative impact on your scores until the balance shows zero, or the account falls off your reports.

If you want to give more specifics about what negatives you have and when they occurred, you'll likely get more specific advice.

If any negative info about the accounts was added to your reports, it will stay for 7-10 years.

I see three negatives out of potentially five negatives. This will have an impact.

If you want to wait for them to be eliminated, this will occur after seven years. If you want to minimize the perspective impact, you do have the choice to pay off any reported balance. Potentially. The late payment, you won't wash that out, unless you can prove it wasn't a late payment.

Determine what your risk vs reward scenario is.
