I really can not figure out how to get this off my credit report. I have a collection from a student loan with them that I have sine paid in full. Everytime I send a PFD or GW letter or email I get the same canned response everytime. Has anyone been successful with AES/PHEAA before? Does anyone have a contact that might be able to help. I really have done very well cleaning up my credit, but this one is hurting me still and would LOVE to take care of it. Thank you for any input!!

Here it the canned response:
Please be advised that once a student loan defaults, the entire balance is
due in full at all times. Your signature on your promissory notes
indicates your understanding of this fact. Please be aware there are
several consequences of defaulting. You have been assessed an I-9 rating
on you credit report with the 4 major credit reporting bureaus which will
remain there for 6.9 years as permitted by law.

Here is my credit report info. Its the same on each bureau.

Student loan assigned to government

Equifax

Past Due: $0 $0

High Balance: $1357

Terms: 1 months

Payment: $0

Opened: 08/25/2006

Reported: 12/01/2006
