topic SOL questions in Rebuilding Your Credit

First, what does Kansas use for the start of SOL's? Now here comes the fun part: Which of the SOL's does a cable bill fall under? (open ended, promissary, written, or oral) I never signed anything, I just called and my cable was on. Now if I know that some of my collections are close to SOL or out already, what should I do?

Check state resources up top.

SOL in most states go by DOLA.

Federal SOL would be 2 years from DOFD.

Message Edited by HappyDays on 07-01-2009 05:44 PM

I cant cite to you, off the cuff, the federal legislation, but others surely will chime in.

There is federal legislation affixing the SOL on telecomm debt that you need to research.

I think it it is 2-3 years, max
