Disputed online now ALL dates have changed?

Hello all!

I disputed some negatives online through Experian and it came back as verified. Now all dates have changed to when I disputed EXCEPT date Opened which is saying 5/2009. Before the dispute the date opened was 2007, so now it looks as if this is a new debt. If I was delinquent in 2007 how can they wait until 2009 to report? And I honestly don't ever recall having an ATT account. Is this legal? HELP! I am trying to clean up my report myself but now I'm thinking one of those lawyer firms might be a better option since there seem to be so many rules and loopholes. Thanks!

As long as they never change this date....if this is the correct date for removal. What were you disputing?

Ok. Thanks! Well I was disputing the fact that I don't ever recall having an account with ATT or Bellsouth, and they were originally saying this was from 2007 so I know I would remember 2 years ago. I have been able to delete alot accounts from my report because apparently someone else has used my name and SSN# to obtain phones/cable etc. But alot have come back verified, how, I don't know. It's frustrating.
